Safety controls
Lasers that doctors use are governed by protective measures, which aim to avoid exposure of lasers to vulnerable tissues. Serious accidents can occur such as burning the eye when these measures are ignored. Doctors, nurses and patients must follow them rigorously. Unilaser Medica permanently monitors compliance with biosafety measures on laser. In summary these are:
1.Full eye protection in all facial procedures.
2.Everyone inside the procedures room should wear specific glasses made for each device.
3.All dark elements or mirrors have to be removed from the working field. (Accessories or clothing with possibility to reflect or capture the laser).
4.Aerial protection against lesions that can lead to contamination like HPV warts.
