Aging skin
Aging skin is manifested by the presence of the following six characteristics which are summarized in the acronym PAVLOT. It is a more objective way to assess skin changes and are often subject to consultation and treatment.
PAVLOT means:
P = PIGMENT (HIPERPIGMENTATION)
A = ARRUGAS (WRINKLES)
V = VASCULAR (TELANGIECTASIS)
L = LIPODISTROPHY (LOSS FAT FACE OR REDISTRIBUTION)
O = OPACITY(LOSS OF BRIGHTNESS CHANGES IN TEXTURE)
T = TUMORS (APPEARANCE CHANGE OR TUMOR GROWTH OF INJURY)
PIGMENT.Stains: Stains become more permanent in areas of increased sun exposure. They are of two types: A well circumscribed that are larger than freckles (lentigines) and other, more diffuse, affecting the lateral areas of the forehead, neck and mandibular branches. The use of skin lightening creams will not lead to lasting results because these changes are not temporary; correspond to cells that changed no return. The real solution would be to change the skin and in this process Fraxel laser as they get without causing scabs. Darker spots require lasers that they do cause scabs. ARRUGAS (WRINKLES).The main cause of wrinkles is the imbalance between the different structures of the skin. Changes may predominate motor and have dynamic wrinkles, when the dermis and / or fat decompensate; we most static wrinkles. VASCULAR.Telangiectasia, dilated veins: They may not be closely related to age, but the truth is, they increase with time and its elimination leads to a healthier looking skin. The most typical pattern is the micro-vascular associated with pigmentary changes and wrinkles on the neck, the side of the forehead and décolletage area. In these cases it is best to start sessions soon before they become denser and notorious.

LIPO-ALTERATIONS.It is a known fact that fat distribution changes throughout life. Between 20 and 30 years of age the face becomes more rounded more angled. At maturity less fat is more and more noticeable and bony prominences and dimpling cheeks for loss of subcutaneous fat. The changes accentuate thinning of the skin on the back of the hands, the skin of the neck and décolleté. The immediate remedy is to compensate areas sinking deeper and more superficial fat loss mattress with acid hyluronic fillers because they are more immediate, safe and easy application.

OPACITY.(loss of skin luster, texture changes, lax skin) It is the earliest change. It is checked if the smoothness of the skin creams which does not recover, indicating that the dermis, the part of the skin of which gives its support; has lost its normal thickness and is less elastic. TUMORS.The passage of time accumulates multiple cutaneous tumors of different types. Some may appear at an early age and brown crusts resemble that do not come off and are soar not (seborrheic keratosis). Other lesions appear reddish with yellowish scales that stick and do not take off. (Actinic keratosis). The elevation of blood triglycerides leads to fatty cysts like lesions on the face, which are not easily removed (sebaceous hyperplasia). Some moles grow and thicken hair. Finally, the most important of all are those like pearls and others that change colors look cloudy which occur in middle age. The latter two lesions may be malignant. When all these injuries accumulate and coexist, skin clarity is lost in the aesthetic aspect, and removal especially in the most malnourished parts is required, the best chance of healing needs lasers microsurgery techniques.
